I use Zamzar as a tool to download videos from Youtube. Here are the steps:

[1] Copy the Youtube video URL, which looks something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HJsGrGUHPs

[2] Go to http://zamzar.com/url. Follow the four steps under the Download Videos tab. Paste the URL in step 1. Choose a format (such as MP3 if you want to take audio only; or MPG if video) in step 2. Enter your email address in step 3. And click Convert in step 4.

[3] Wait for an email from Zamzar.

[4] Click on the Download link from the email to actually download the file. 

That’s it. Perhaps there are other tools out there. Let us know if you use another tool to download clips from Youtube.
