Learn how to edit your profile on your HousingSurf account.
Application Site: http://www.housingsurf.com/roommates/
Prerequisite: HousingSurf Account.
Process Time: 5 minutes.
Steps:
Step-1. Go to the Application site and log in your account.
Step-2. On your home page click on “My profile” from the left side of the screen. You will then be given three options under it. Click “edit profile”.
Step-3. On the next page under your “Basic Information” select your profile type by clicking on the arrow beside the box provided for it. Choose either “needs a room” or “is offering a room” and click on it. On the other side type in your postal code.
Step-4. Under “Pictures” click ” Browse” to pick a profile picture from your desktop or copy and paste URL of pictures from your other social network accounts like Friendster and Facebook to the box provided.
Step-5. Under “Financial Terms” set a price on your “Desired Rent”. Click on the arrow beside the box provided for it and select and click the desired price. On the other side set “Term Length” (Same process with “Desired Rent”). Next click on the box under “Date Available” and set up desired date.
Step-5. Under “Personal Information” set up following information:
- Gender
- Cleanliness
- Pets
- Smoker
- Criminal history
- Hours kept
Step-6. Under “Roommate Information” set up same information under your own information.
Step-7. If you feel like typing a little something about yourself click on the box under “Description” and start typing. When you’re done click “SAVE” from the bottom of the page. You just completed your profile update.
