WordPress allows you to change the domain name according to your choice domain, such as Techbays.com, instead of Techbays.wordpress.com.

Application Site: http://wordpress.com

Prerequisite: WordPress Account. Payment [1]. Domain name [2].

Process Time: 2 minutes.

Steps:

Step-1. Go to application site.

Step-2. Log in your WordPress account.

Step-3. Click “Upgrades” on the left side menu.

Step-4. On the Add a Domain item, Click “Buy Now” .

Step-5. Select a domain: http://YourDomain.com

Step-6. Click Add Domain to Blog.

Step-7. The My Shopping Cart page summarizes the purchase. Select Payment Method: Credit Card or Paypal.

Step-8. Enter payment information such as card number, expiration, address, name.

Step-9. Click “Purchase” to complete the transaction.

[1] Registration is 5.00 while Mapping is 9.97 for a total of 14.97 USD per year.

[2] You must have already checked whether your choice domain is still available or not. You cannot get Google.com because that’s already registered.
