Instead of picking one file at a time, Google Doc’s new upload page lets you choose multiple files and upload them simultaneously, in just a couple of steps.
Prerequisite: Google account.
Application Site: http://docs.google.com/
Process Time: 1 minute.
Steps:
Step-1. Go to the application site.
Step-2. Log in to your account.
Step-4. Click the “Upload” button on the upper left corner of the page.
Step-5. Click “Select files to upload” to upload files from your computer. [1]
Step-6. The file browser pops up. Select multiple files by pressing Shift and clicking the files.
Step-6. Alternatively, click the “Select more files” link that appears after you upload the first set of files if you want to select more files.
Step-7. Select a “Destination folder” from your Google Docs. [2]
Step-8. Click “Start upload”.
Step-9. Google Docs displays the status of upload per file until completion.

Documents (up to 500KB of text)
- HTML files and plain text (.txt).
- Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Rich Text (.rtf), OpenDocument Text (.odt) and StarOffice (.sxw).

- Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt, .pps).
Spreadsheets (up to 1MB)
- Comma Separated Value (.csv).
- Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx) files and OpenDocument Spreadsheet (.ods).
PDF Files (up to 10MB)
