Zamzar is an online service that allows you to download videos from Youtube.

Application Site: http://www.zamzar.com/url.

Steps:

Step-1. Copy the Youtube video URL, which looks something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0HJsGrGUHPs

Step-2. Go to http://zamzar.com/url. Follow the four steps under the Download Videos tab. Paste the URL. Choose a format (such as MP3 if you want to take audio only; or MPG if video). Enter your email address. And click Convert.

Step-3. Wait for an email from Zamzar.

Step-4. Click on the Download link from the email to actually download the file.

Process Time: 1 minute + waiting time to receive email [1] + actual download time [2].

Notes:

[1] The “waiting time” to receive confirmation from Zamzar that your video has been converted to desired format can last from an hour or more (most of the time longer).

[2] Actual download time takes about a minute per minute of video.
