Getting better each time, Gmail introduces offline access with almost all the standard features, except actually connecting to its servers. To activate this feature:
- Go to Gmail Settings> Labs.
- Find Offline Gmail gadget and select Enable.
- Hit Save and Reload browser.
- Click the Offline^0.1 link in the upper righthand corner to start the offline setup process.
This is currently rolled out to a set of users at a time. You may have to wait until Google finds your account worthy to participate. Nah. Just be patient, you’ll get it.
