Something pleasing happened today. I dialed “1″ to check my voicemail, reviewed some of the voice messages, and when I hung up the phone, my Blackberry went dead. What a friggin frack. Sorry for that. It was already something like 416,000 with 134 Lives. You don’t have to say it. But what a day. I did took a photo of my phone when I was going 300 thousand. That’s the dilemma you get when you roll past 35,000 points. After the second cycle, the game drastically changes to a slower pace. What do you do then when you reach 100,000 with 40 Lives? Or 200,000 thousand with 70 Lives? Or 400,000 thousand with 130 Lives? If you want to get to the game’s top scorers’ list, then you’ll have to spend all your Lives to know how you rank. Then again, there are others who are doing 700,000 just waiting for their phone to break.

Well. That’s behind me now. I went to run two cycles of Breaker to feel better. So let’s continue.

Level 4

Launching the ball sideways works here. It clears the level faster. The white Y labeled bricks generate the specials. This level is simple and straightforward. One of those levels to watch for a Life to add on to your target of 20 Lives.

Level 5

There is a new element in this level — the gray colored brick. That one is not breakable using the ball. However, the special function Gun can clear that one out. Gun has three ammos at your disposal. It’s good to use it breaking gray bricks and light colored bricks. Light colored bricks take about four hits before it clears. There’s no reason to lose a Life in this level. My normal approach is as shown, with the blue paddle launching the ball to the left and bounce that back to hit one of the special bricks.

Level 6

This is one of the boring levels. You simply have to clear this as fast as possible. Note on the special bricks — they might just give you additional Lives. My regular approach is to clear the brick on the lower left, so the ball can roll through the space between bricks and hit as much as it can in a short period.
