Uptake, formerly Kango, is now open to the public. UpTake is a travel site that wants to be your first destination when planning for trips. As of March this year, UpTake has crawled over 1000 travel sites and creates the largest repository of US hotels with more than 400,000 products.
UpTake now has five hotel themes: just getaway, family vacation, romantic getaway, pet friendly, and girls getaway.

UpTake is currently growing at 77% monthly and fast approaching the stats of its former self Kango. Kango will remain active through 2009.
