Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture: six months later

It’s more than six months since Randy Pausch, a professor of Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, and Design at Carnegie Mellon University, was told by his doctor he had three to six months of good health left. He then delivered his Last Lecture at the University, which immediately became one of the most viewed videos in Google Video. His talk is a very inspiring articulation on the subject of achieving our childhood dreams. That famous talk was reprised on the Oprah Show.

Today, his Last Lecture has been made into a book, downloadable digital copy, a DVD, transcript, powerpoint, and transcripts and videos in other languages.

He and his doctors have kept the tumors in check. And Randy says, How much longer this will work is hard to know, but I’m going to keep having fun every day I have left, no matter how many or how few of them I get.

This is his Last Lecture.
